Basketballghana.com gathers the 2022 edition of the Ghana Technical Universities Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games and Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games will commence in November.
Ghana’s biggest basketball portal caught up with this piece of information during Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess’ State of Ghana Basketball speech delivered recently.
The Association President touched on varied issues connected to basketball growth and challenges since he took office late last year. A major development he noted was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US Based Construction Firm New York Square Limited.
In his speech he outlined the calendar of basketball activities and where institutional games like the GHATUSA and GUSA fall within the structure of the GBBA’s plan.
“The Ghana University Games will start Friday, 4th November to 19th November…and that will be in Kumasi…On the 13th November, the Ghana Technical Universities Games will start in Tamale and end on Friday the 25th of November” he stated. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Representatives from the GHATUSA and GUSA are set to be invited to compete in the National Championship Basketball Tournament.
