Last season’s beaten finalist in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division, Reformers of Prisons, remain on course to return to the big dance and probably win it if the team’s regular season form in the 2022 campaign is anything to go by.
Reformers clinched its 11th win in 12 games earlier today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments thanks to an 84-11 win over Galaxy Basketball Club.
The win over the very young team with a bevy of developing players keeps Reformers in first place and ahead of fellow title contender Braves of Customs and defending league champion Ghana Police Service.
Match Report
Nelly Akorkor and Berlinda Acquah scored for Reformers to put Reformers up 41-7 Galaxy at half time. Sefura Dogoe scored Galaxy’s sole point from the free throw line; Galaxy trailed 58-9 at the end of the third quarter.
