Braves v Fire (red) in 2022 ABL Women's Division

Braves of Customs easily brushed aside the challenge of Ghana National Fire Service in a matchup played earlier today to book a huge win.

Customs bagged a 44-18 win over Fire Service at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in one of three league games played at the venue; two of those matchups were in the Men’s Division I.

Unlike its Men’s team that lost surprisingly to Leopards 44-46, Braves Female Team had little struggles dispatching Fire Service.

Fire Service couldn’t deal with Braves frontcourt pair of Stephanie Annan and Gloria Gyampoh who scored inside the paint on many occasions and utilized their size advantage to snatch offensive rebounds and finish second chance scoring opportunities.

Afia Kobi Agyemang and Vanessa McCaire scored late for Braves with Customs holding an unassailable lead at that point despite a brief spell of production uptick offensively from Fire.

Carlen Adjei scored a three pointer and a layup on a fast break off a pass from Ruth Dogbey; Lawrencia Adjei and Dogbey got more points for Braves after managing just 11 through three quarters in the game.
