According to Michael Scotto, the Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal will decline his $36.4 million player option for the 2022-23 season and become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
Beal, 28, only played in 40 games last season after injuring his wrist midway through the season, but in 40 games he averaged 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.
