Basketballghana.com can confirm the venue for the Basketball Honours is almost ready to host the event on Friday, June 17 at 18:00 GMT.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Headquarters Omanye Aba Hall will host the upcoming Awards Scheme this weekend. The Basketball Honours is to recognize standout individuals and organizations for their contribution to basketball development in Ghana.
The neatly designed hall is almost ready to receive stakeholders in the Ghanaian sports space and basketball space on Friday for the awards. Ghana’s biggest basketball portal was on hand at the Headquarters for an exclusive peek inside the Hall with organizers RITE Sports Limited on hand to put finishing touches to the facility. A handful of star names are billed to headline the event with standout Comedian DKB and Award winning Rapper Edem set to perform on the night. Veteran Broadcaster Louis Kwame Sekyiamah will MC the event.
Individuals and organizations involved in the success stories of RITE Sports events such as Sprite Ball Championship and UPAC- Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges- Basketball Championship are in line to receive Awards.
