Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana Center Amida Brimah has signed a deal with Puerto Rican side Mets de Guaynabo to see out the 2022 Season.

The news comes after Brimah saw out his debut season in Belgium and helped Filou Oostende win the Belgian Pro Basketball League title; the win is Oostende’s 11th in a row.

Brimah had a wonderful time in the BSN League in his first run with Mets where he averaged 11.6 points, 3.2 blocks and 8.9 rebounds as proved a pivotal presence in Guaynabo’s surprise run to the Finals Series.

The run to the Finals was Mets’ first since 1993 before the former Indiana Pacers shot blocker signed for Oostende and won his second title since turning pro in 2017.

Guaynabo has 11 wins and 14 losses thus far in the lead with eight games left to play in the regular season. The team occupies the last playoff spot in Group B of the BSN standings.

Brimah missed almost two months of action as he recovered from a foot injury he suffered at Filou.
