Basketballghana.com can confirm Olimpia Milano is another win from booking a spot in the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A Basketball Season. Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has featured extensively for Milano this season.
The team registered its second win in as many games in the best of five series playoff semifinal matchup against Sassari; Milano clinched a 91-82 win in the second game of the series. [Click highlighted text to watch game highlights]
This comes on the back of Milano’s 88-71 win over Sassari in Game One played over the past weekend. Bentil played 15 minutes in Game 2 and registered four points and five rebounds.
Unlike Game One where he was efficient with his shooting, Bentil missed a pair of three pointers and converted one of three two point shot attempts in the contest. He did score all two free throws he attempted.
Sergio Rodriguez led Milano in scoring with 19 points with teammates Donta Hall and Shavon Shields adding 17 and 16 points respectively.
Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday, June 1 at 18;45 GMT.
