Ghana Center Amida Brimah continues his solid production in the wake of his shock return from a foot injury that was expected to rule him out for the rest of the season.
However, Brimah has made return in time to feature in the Belgian Basketball League Finals Series and thus far his efforts have given his side Filou Oostende a 2-1 series advantage.
Oostende bagged an 86-69 win over Merchelen in Game 3 with with 6 foot 10 inch defender Brimah registering seven points, two rebounds and a blocked shot in 9:41 minutes of game time off the bench. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Brimah was ultra efficient as he scored all three two point shots in the game and converted his sole free throw shot attempt. His rebounds tally was recorded on the defensive end of the court.
Phil Booth and Levi Randolph led Oostende with 21 and 18 points respectively; Game 4 is scheduled for May 27 at 18:00 GMT as Oostende attempts to win its 11th straight league title.
A title win would be Brimah’s second since turning pro in 2017 after winning the NBA Gatorade League title with Austin Spurs.
