Basketballghana.com can confirm the second round of the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Regular Season will commence next month following the conclusion of the first round of competition.
The league’s second round will commence on Tuesday, June 7 according to an official statement from the ABL Director Alex Kukula; the first round of games ended on Saturday, May 21.
The official release also stated outstanding games in the Men’s Division I will get cleared in the opening week of the second round. Ghana Air Force’s game against Tema Youth is one of such outstanding game; the fixture was cancelled due to heavy rains in Accra.
After scaling several hurdles in the shorter than usual 2021 season mainly due to the after effects of the COVID 19 Pandemic, the 2022 season has played out smoothly so far across all three divisions-Men’s Division I, Women’s Division and Men’s Division II.
All ABL Games in the 2022 Season are held at the Prisons Court in Cantonments. See below for a full read of the League’s official communication:
