Basketballghana.com Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is in line to compete later today in the first round of the Italian Serie A postseason. His side Olimpia Milano takes on Reggiana at 15:00 GMT in a best of five games series.
After transferring from Turkish side Koleji Istanbul earlier this season, Bentil is very likely to compete in a few minutes to mark his playoff debut in Italy.
Milano ended the 2021-2022 Regular Season in second place with 24 wins and six losses while seventh ranked Reggiana ended the season with 15 wins and 15 losses.
In the last game between the teams, Milano registered a 67-63 win that had Bentil score nine points and added three rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes.
Bentil averaged 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 17 games mainly off the bench in his first regular season outing in Italy.
Milano won the Italian Cup earlier this season but exited the Euroleague at the quarterfinal stage.
