Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko’s 2021-2022 Season has come to an end following the elimination of Zornotza from the ongoing playoffs in the Spanish LEB Silver.
Zornotza lost twice in two games to Navarra including the 84-92 loss in Game 2 that ended Zornotza’s season; prior to playing Navaraa, Agbeko’s team scaled La Roda by beating them twice earlier in the playoffs.
Agbeko registered 13 points, six rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes of play as a starter in the 84-92 loss as one of three players to score in double figures for Zornotza.
The 6 foot 7 inch player converted five of eight two point shot attempts and scored three of four free throws in the game; he didn’t attempt a three point shot in an efficient outing.
The just ended season was Agbeko’s first with Zornotza after playing for the likes of fellow division side Albacete since moving from Denmark two seasons ago.
He graduated from St. Louis University and averaged 8.8 points and 4.8 rebounds in 20.9 minutes across 30 games for Zornotza.
