Basketballghana.com can report American-Ghanaian Guard Bashir Ahmed was involved in the final regular season game of the 2021-2022 Campaign in the Romanian Basketball League Pro A.

His side, Targu Jiu recorded a 93-86 win over Steaua Bucharesti in the final round of the league; the win confirms Ahmed’s side ends the season in 12^th place on the 16 team league standings.

Targu ends the season with 11 wins and 19 losses and misses out on the playoffs that commences later today with Game 2 of the respective playoffs first round series scheduled for May 6.

Ahmed played 24 minutes as a starter and registered 10 points, a blocked shot and two rebounds as one of five Targu players to score in double figures.
