The final round of games in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Nile Conference will conclude later tonight in Cairo, Egypt. Ahead of the start of the games, four teams have already booked their qualification to the next stage due to be held in Kigali Rwanda in May.
Egyptian side and defending BAL Champion Zamalek is the only unbeaten team in the Conference and plays its fifth and final game tonight against FAP of Cameroon at 11:00 GMT.
Zamalek has won all four games played and leads the standings ahead of Angolan side Petro de Luanda; Petro has four wins and a loss in five games in second place.
South African side Cape Town Tigers take on DR Congo’s Espoir Fukash at 19:00 GMT tonight with Tigers ranked third after recording two wins and two losses in four games. Tigers and FAP rounds up the list of teams that have qualified to the Quarterfinal or Elite Eight stage.
Four qualified teams from the Sahara Conference will join them in Rwanda. See below for full details of standings:
