Olimpia Milano will play in the 2021-2022 Euroleague Basketball Championship Quarterfinals Series against Andolou Efes Basketballghana.com can confirm. Ghana Power Forward Ben Bentil is on Milano’s roster.
This comes after Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv beat Turkish side Fenerbache 85-76 in the final regular season game. Maccabi picked up the fifth seed while Efes slipped to the sixth seed spot to setup the meet against Italian side Milano.
Turkish side Efes takes on third seed Milano in the quarterfinals with Game One scheduled for April 19 at 17:00 GMT in a best of five game series. Fenerbache was already eliminated from the race to the playoffs prior to its loss against Maccabi.
Top seed Barcelona takes on Bayern Munich while Olympiacos plays AS Monaco and Real Madrid plays Maccabi also on April 19.
Bentil played a limited role in Milano’s latest outing in the Italian Serie A as he registered two points and a steal in three minutes in Milano’s 70-61 win over Vanoli Cremona.
Milano ranks second in the Serie A.
