Ghana Power Forward Maxwell Amoafo started the game and played 12 minutes due to foul trouble but managed to register 10 points, six rebounds and a blocked shot in the win.
Amoafo has been struggling with foul troubles throughout the postseason and played limited minutes after picking up four fouls in a dozen minutes.
The former Mfantsipim School standout converted four of six free throws while scoring all three field goal attempts; five of his rebounds came on the defensive glass.
This is the first time since 2010 Saskatchewan will compete in the national tournament final and in Amoafo’s fourth season with the Huskies program.
Prior to the win over Queen’s, the Huskies beat Brock University 77-73.
