Participants competed in exhibition games after the training sessions

St. John’s School Basketball Coach Ebenezer Boateng has passed on his belief in his players’ ability to channel lessons picked up at Iungo World’s Camp into practice as preparation for upcoming competitions.

He said this in an interview with Basketballghana.com after his student-players participated in the One Day camp by Iungo that was led by former 13 year pro Guard Jerry Johnson who has experience competing in the Belgian and Turkish Basketball Leagues.

The well attended event had Johnson lead participants in various exercises aimed at improving their finishing skills and ability to read defenses.

“We believe that whatever they have learnt here they will use them whenever we go back to our side and we start training…we believe that whatever they have acquired here they will use they will put it into practice in our preparation for the next tournament” Boateng said.

Shama Senior High School and Bompeh Senior High School was represented at the event.
