Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brmah has put in another impressive defensive shift for his side Filou Oostende.
Oostende clinched a 78-70 win over Leiden in the 2021-2022 BNXT Basketball League Season; Brimah played 24:39 minutes in the game that had Filou’s Phil Booth and Leiden’s Jhonathan Dunn lead the scoring category with 16 points apiece.
Brimah on the other hand, registered six points, six rebounds, six blocked shots and an assist to get his team the win and first place in the Belgian-Dutch hoops league.
Oostende’s latest win in the league comes on the back of a 74-85 loss to Romanian side Cluj Napoca that got the team eliminated from the FIBA Basketball Champions League. In eight games, the 6 foot 10 inch player averaged 8.9 points, seven rebounds and 2.5 blocks in 21.9 minutes.
Winning the league has become of utmost importance to Filou after falling out of European competition and losing the Belgian Basketball Cup Final.
The team plays Zwolle and Den Bosch on March 30 and April 1 next.
