Ghana Center Amida Brimah was in action for Belgian side Filou Oostende in the latest round of 2021-2022 FIBA Basketball Champions League games.
Oostende lost 74-85 to Romanian side Cluj Napoca in the Round of 16 stage with Brimah starting the game and registering four points, seven rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot in 20:51 minutes. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
Former Indiana Pacers defender Brimah attempted just four shots in the game and all came from field goal range; he converted two of those attempts and didn’t attempt a free throw.
Only two Oostende players scored in double figures with Mikael Jantunen leading the way with 20 points. Cluj attempted just six three point shot attempts and converted three while Oostende scored seven of 18 similar attempts.
In the loss to Limburg United in the Belgian Basketball Cup Final, Oostende turned the ball over several times; the team did same against Napoca as it gifted possession 19 times against Cluj’s 12.
Brimah is past the midpoint mark in his debut season with Filou.
