Basketballghana.com can report American-Ghanaian Guard Denzel Mensah has recorded the most points scored in the 2021-2022 V-Bet Basketball League in Armenia.
The 28 year old 6 foot 2 inch Guard who joined BKMA in February this year, scored 68 points in a shock 102-116 loss to Artsakh in a league matchup. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
By scoring 68 points, Mensah beat out the record set by Artsakh’s Justin Sutton with his 62 point game outing recorded earlier in the season.
Mensah started the game and played 42 minutes while registering 12 rebounds, six assists and a steal to add to his record shattering tally in the score column. He turned the ball over five times.
The 28 year old Mensah did well to convert 15 of 24 field goal shot attempts but fared poorly scoring nine of 23 three point shot attempts. He scored 11 of 17 free throw attempts.
BKMA ranks third in the league standings with 15 wins and 13 losses after falling to Artsakh.
