Later today, Ghana Center Amida Brimah is in line to compete for the 2021-2022 Belgian Basketball Cup as Filou Oostende takes on Limburg United in the Final Game.
Tonight’s game tips off at 16:30 GMT and presents Oostende’s Brimah with the chance to win his first title with the Club; this is Amida’s debut season with the European team.
The 6 foot 10 inch athletic defender played a starring role in Oostende’s run to the final; he registered 23 points, nine rebounds, an assist, a blocked shot and a steal in 28:13 minutes in an 82-72 win over Antwerp Giants in the semifinals.
Oostende hasn’t been in action since February 20 since recording a 100-90 win over Spirou Charleroi in the Belgian League; the team was expected to play Prometey on March 9 in the FIBA Basketball Champions League but the game was cancelled due to Ukrainian side Prometey’s withdrawal from the competition.
In the league, Limburg lost 82-99 to Oostende with Brimah delivering 11 points, six rebounds, four blocks and a steal in 16:57 minutes of action.
