Basketballghana.com can report American born Ghanaian Guard Denzel Mensah has topped his scoring mark again since signing for the club a month ago.
Mensah scored 54 points in BKMA’s 100-93 win over AIA Yerevan this past weekend in Round 30 of the 2021-2022 Regular Season in the Armenian League.
The athletic 6 foot 2 inch playmaker is loving life in the European nation’s league; he added 19 rebounds, six assists, seven steals and a block in 40 minutes. He did turn the ball over four times.
The standout performance from Mensah was in the rebounding game as the former Penn State-Wilkes Barre player led the contest in the category while grabbing an eye popping 10 offensive rebounds.
A more efficient performance from three point range would have bumped Mensah’s scoring tally higher as he converted just three of nine three point shot attempts.
His performance was the perfect response to his Player of the Month (February) Award win where he averaged 42.4 points, 17.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
