The Prisons Court will host Day One of the Camp

Basketballghana.com can confirm games in the 2022 Accra Basketball League (ABL) are to be played out at the Prisons Basketball Court in Cantonments in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

The league in previous seasons has had games played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu and on rare occasions some fixtures were seen out at the DUNK Court at Kawukudi.

However, Accra Basketball League Director Alex Kukula has confirmed this season’s games will be played at the Prisons Court just like the 2021 campaign.

He confirmed this while addressing the media at the launch of the 2022 ABL Season earlier today at the De’lish Restaurant. The league’s official start date is Tuesday, March 8.

The press conference was headlined by ABL Chairman Ayitey Bulley and ABL Vice Chairman Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi.

Matters on land leasing with respect to the Lebanon House Court has made it prudent to host games at the Prisons Court moving forward.
