The upcoming season is due to commence on Tuesday, March 8 after the original start date, February 22, had to be scrapped as league executives worked to solve a technical issue.
Reformers of Prisons are the defending Men’s Division I Champions and head into the new season in uncharted territory since this is the first time the team has won the league title.
The team swept perennial champions Braves of Customs in the best of three game finals series last season. Ghana Police Service won its second Women’s Division title in a row and had to battle from a Game 1 deficit to clinch the series by winning Games 2 and 3.
The 2021 Season was played out over a shorter than usual period due to the league’s COVID 19 vaccination program. The schedule for the 2022 season is yet to be released.
