Ghana Forward Ben Bentil could end up winning his second European Basketball Cup title in two years as Olimpia Milano battles Tortona later tonight in the Italian Basketball Cup Final.
The game tips off at 17:00 GMT after Bentil’s Milano scored a 69-63 win over Brescia while Tortona grabbed a 94-82 win in a high scoring game in the semifinals.
Bentil played 11 minutes in Milano’s six point win over Brescia registering five points, two rebounds and an assist. He attempted just three shots and converted two of those attempts in the game.
The 2016 NBA Draftee and the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA won the Greek Basketball Cup title and the league title last season with Panathinaikos.
He could repeat the feat with a win tonight and if Milano makes good on its league leading run in the league to clinch the Italian league title.
Aside a brief run in the NBA with Dallas Mavericks, Bentil has played in Spain, France and Turkey.
