Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah has delivered a Most Valuable Player Award winning performance in Filou Oostende’s run in the 2021-2022 Belgian Basketball Cup.
Oostende beat Antwerp Giants 82-72 in the second leg of the semifinal series to qualify to the Final of the Tournament. In the first leg, Antwerp lost 72-90 and Brimah registered 10 points and four rebounds in 13 minutes.
He followed up that performance with a better outing as he scored 23 points and added nine rebounds, an assist, a blocked shot and a steal in 28:13 minutes as a starter.
Brimah was very efficient in the second leg as he converted nine of 11 two point shot attempts and scored five of six free throw attempts in the game.
The 6 foot 11 inch athletic defender Brimah led Oostende in points and rebounds while falling a rebound shy of registering a double double.
Oostende plays Limburg United in the final slated for Monday, March 13. The two teams face off in the league on Friday, February 18.
