Two Ghanaian Basketball players are in line to compete in Basketball Cup tournaments in Europe later today with both competitions at the latter stage.
Center Amida Brimah is likely to compete for Filou Oostende in the Belgian Basketball Cup Semifinals against Antwerp Giants. Tonight’s game is the second leg of the semifinals.
In the first leg, Oostende recorded a 90-78 win over Giants with Brimah playing 13 minutes and registering 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and a block in the win.
A win in tonight’s game takes Oostende into the 2021-2022 Belgian Cup final and gives Brimah the chance to win his first title with Oostende in his debut season.
In Italy, Small Forward/ Power Forward Ben Bentil is in line to play for Olimipia Milano in the team’s matchup against Dinamo Sassari tonight at 17:30 GMT.
The matchup is a quarterfinal tie in the Italian Basketball Cup and presents the chance for Bentil to win a title in his first season in Italy. Bentil won the Greek Basketball Cup during his time at Panathinaikos in Greece.
