Basketballghana.com can confirm the Greater Accra Basketball Association (GABBA) has new executives at post and will serve in the respective posts for four years.
The Association is to be led by Ayitey Bulley who continues in his role as Chairman for four more years after serving his first term in office.
Dr. Eric Opoku-Antwi will serve as Vice Chair with Marcel Avadu as General Secretary, Dennis Boateng as Treasurer and Emmanuel Quaye as Organizing Secretary.
Chairman Bulley doubles as Chairman of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) and during his time as Chairman, the league has witnessed an uptick in enthusiasm and competitiveness.
One main reason behind the positive in Ghana’s premier basketball league is the introduction of the playoff format in the league’s postseason. The 2022 ABL Season start date is yet to be determined.
Chairman Bulley has been supportive of the recently elected Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) Executives and activities rolled out by the GBBA early into their tenure.
