Tennessee State University Men’s Basketball Team has bagged its 10th win of the 2021-2022 Regular Season in the US College Basketball circuit and had Ghana Power Forward/Center Emmanuel Dowuona produce a solid performance in the win.
Tennessee registered a 69-61 win over University of Tennessee-Martin; Tennessee Stae University has 10 wins and 14 losses thus far.
Dowuona started the game and played 13 minutes and produced eight points, four rebounds and a steal; early foul trouble forced the 6 foot 10 defender to play limited minutes.
He converted three of five two point shot attempts and scored both free throw shot attempts in the game that had Marcus Richardson and Kassim Nicholson score 17 points respectively.
The performance against UT-Martin represents one of Dowuona’s better outings in his first season at Tennessee after a frustrating time at Purdue University where he struggled for game time, form and health.
Tennessee State takes on Murray State University on February 10.
