Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian-American Forward Bashir Ahmed has registered 11 points in the latest outing for Romanian side Targu Jiu.

Ahmed’s latest scoring effort came via an 84-97 loss in Round 18 of the 2021-2022 Regular Season that worsened the team’s record for the season. Targu has five wins and 12 losses thus far in the campaign.

Aside scoring in double figures, 6 foot 7 inch Ahmed who can play as a Shooting Guard registered two steals, four rebounds and an assist in 20 minutes off the bench.

The former St. John’s University player had a hard time scoring from two point range as he converted just one of four shots while missing his sole free throw shot attempt.
