Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has scored 10 points in 20 minutes in Olimpia Milano’s latest win in the Italian Serie A.

Milano beat Fortitudo Bologna 74-64 this past weekend to clinch its 14th win in 16 games in the 2021-2022 Regular Season to continue its run as the lead team in the standings.

Aside bagging 10 points, Bentil added seven rebounds, two steals and two assists as a starter for the Milan club. He was one of only three Milano players to score in double figures.

Veteran Forward Luigi Datome led Milano with 15 points; Bologna’s Brenden Frazier led all players in scoring with 22 points; Bentil scored five of seven two point shot attempts.

In his first season with Milano, Bentil is averaging 12.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game but missed the start of the season due to his presence on Turkish team Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul prior to his move to Italy.

Milano plays Crvena Zvedza on Tuesday, February 1 in the Euroleague next.
