Basketballghana.com understands the Most Valuable Player Award winner of the upcoming Game of Threes Basketball Tournament will win a gold watch from Caveman watches.
The 3×3 Basketball Tournament is scheduled to take place at the Semanhyia Golden Mall on Saturday, January 29 with the one day competition tipping off at 10:00 GMT. Semanhyia Golden Mall is located in Ghana’s Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
Sticking with the gold theme of this weekend’s competition also known as the Golden Jam, Clockwork Brand-organizer of the competition-has unveiled the gold watch that the MVP winner would win.
The gold watch is from the stables of celebrated New York Times endorsed Ghanaian watch maker brand Caveman Watches; Caveman is a supporting partner of the tournament.
The MVP will be named from the winning team in Saturday’s competition and the winning team is slated to walk away with 1,500 Ghana Cedis as prize money and other items from sports apparel company, Clockwork Brand.
16 teams are expected to compete in the tournament that has Slam Dunk and Three point Shooting Contest winners in line to win cash prizes and souvenirs from Clockwork Brand respectively.
