This year’s edition of the biannual multi sport competition is due to be held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in April.

Ghana’s leading basketball portal can report a similar series of events have been held at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) earlier this week. (Click on highlighted text to read full story)

UG beat UCC to the 2020 Gold medal albeit in controversial circumstances that had the game postponed and continued at a later date due to crowd trouble. UG’s splendid run started in 2016 by beating University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in the final.
