Basketballghana.com can confirm the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) logo design competition aimed at giving the Association a fresh look, has concluded.

The contest came to an end on Friday, January 21 little over a week after the official launch of the contest as part of the rebranding process by the Association in the wake of new executives assuming various positions; the elections were held late in 2021.

The Design Competition winner is in line to bag $100 for the best design the Association will adopt for its official activities and representation.

The new GBBA led by President Ato Van-Ess has been rolling out projects to give basketball in Ghana a boost and get more visibility to the sport in a football first country.

The logo design competition conclusion comes at a time the GBBA wrapped up the first visit from Lithuania Basketball Federation (LBF) to Ghana to assess the state of basketball in the West African nation as part of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two bodies and International Basketball University (IBU).
