Filou Oostende has booked its place in the FIBA Basketball Champions League Round of 16 after securing the series win over Bosnian side Igokea. Ghana Center Amida Brimah played in the contest for the winning side.

Oostende beat Igokea 83-77 in Game 3 to secure a 2-1 series win and progress deeper into the 2021-2022 Season Knockout stages.

Brimah started the game and played 17:41 minutes while registering five points, five rebounds and two blocks. His low off night was punctuated by his turnover count as the 6 foot 10 inch defender committed four of them.

He scored one of a pair of two point shot attempts and converted three of six free throw attempts while battling foul trouble (3) in the game.

Aside Levi Randolph and Phil Booth who scored 22 and 24 points respectively, the remaining members of the team failed to score in double figures.

Progress to the Round of 16 has Oostende set to play Unicaja and U-Banca Transilvania on February 2 and February 7 respectively.

The team has two Quarterfinal games in the Belgian Cup against Mons-Hainaut to focus on including the first leg that tips off on Sunday, January 23.
