Basketballghana.com can report versatile Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko led all players in scoring in his latest outing in the Spanish ECB Silver Division for the 2021-2022 Regular Season campaign but missed out on a win.
Zornotza lost 65-66 to Gijon in Round 14 games played in the European nation that had Agbeko register 14 points and two rebounds in the low scoring contest.
The one point loss cost Zornotza a win in what is the team’s third defeat in 13 games this season but the team remains atop the West standings in the division. Benicarlo leads the East standings with 11 wins in 13 games.
Agbeko attempted no three point shot and did damage from the field by scoring six of eight two point shot attempts and scored two of four free throws. The former St. Louis University product is averaging 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
Zornotza plays Clavijo on Saturday, January 22 with Clavijo heading into the game with four wins and nine losses.
