The Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA)-Lithuania Basketball Federation (LBF) Touring Entourage will touch base in Cape Coast later today as part of activities lined up to mark the LBF’s official visit to Ghana.

The trip to Ghana’s Central Regional capital is the second of a four day tour of locations in the southern sector and the entourage will make its way to Cape Coast after wrapping up duties in the Western Region’s Takoradi.

Takoradi Technical University (TTU) served as the Host for the Western leg of the tour where matters on possibly setting up a satellite campus for the International Basketball University (IBU) on TTU Campus were touched on.

LBF’s Jonas Vinauskas will gather info on the tour and generate a comprehensive assessment of the state of basketball in Ghana; for starters, the Western Regional Basketball Association via Chairman William Ackom Ocran made a presentation outlining the activities, challenges and future of the Association during the visit.

The Entourage is expected to make a stop at the University of Cape Coast and oversee an exhibition game at the Hoops Care Court.
