Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) President Ato Van-Ess has described newly elected Volta-Oti Regional Basketball Chairman Dr. Andre Kwasi-Kumah as “Vibrant” and “Committed”.
He made these comments in the aftermath of the recently held regional elections in Ho where Dr. Kwasi-Kumah returned to occupy the seat he vacated late last year.
In line with his message of togetherness in the Ghanaian basketball fraternity, President Van-Ess congratulated Dr. Kwasi-Kumah on his win and went on to shower praises on the Administrator.
“We need to develop the sport by first of all working together…Now we have a new Chairman who is very vibrant and committed to the game. I believe he and his executives will help promote the game in Volta (and Oti) Region” he said according to 24hourssports
Team Patron of Kpando based Akpini Snipers, Dr. Kwasi-Kumah left his Regional Chairman seat to be eligible to run for the GBBA Presidential seat.
He missed out on the Association’s highest position to Ato Van-Ess who garnered enough votes to replace David Addo-Ashong as Association President.
