Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Ben Bentil put in a strong shift on the defensive end in a big win for Olimpia Milano in the Euroleague.
Milano beat leaders Barcelona 75-73 with Bentil making a game leading four steals to add to his eight points, four rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes as a starter. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
The win is Milano’s 11th of the season in 17 outings in the 2020-2021 Regular Season and keeps the team in fifth place. Barcelona stays in first place despite the loss with 15 wins and four losses.
Bentil was efficient shooting the ball as he converted his sole two point shot attempt and three of four free throw attempts. He scored one of two three point shot attempts.
Malcolm Delaney and Sergio Rodriguez were the only Milano players to score in double figures with Rodriguez scoring 18 and Delaney scoring 15.
Milano’s upcoming game against UNICS Kazan has been suspended due to an outbreak of COVID 19 infections in the UNICS camp.
