The press conference for the Lithuania Basketball Federation’s (LBF) official visit to Ghana to commence activities outlined in a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the LBF and the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) is slated to come off on Wednesday, January 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A representative of LBF-Jonas Vainauskas-will lead the European nation’s delegation during the visit to the West African nation and the Conference is expected to have GBBA’s top Execs especially President Ato Van-Ess.

The theme of the visit is to “assess the state of Ghana Basketball towards the developmental agreement between the LBF, IBU-International Basketball University-and GBBA”. The deal was signed in December 2021.

The press conference is scheduled to start at 9:00 GMT at the Accra Stadium in Ghana’s capital, Accra where further information on a planned tour of basketball teams and academies at various spots in the country is to be addressed.

Lithuania is a basketball powerhouse presently ranked eighth in the world.
