ClockWork CEO Ekow Amoako

Emmanuel “Clock” Amoako was the hero of the day in Team Ghana’s close win over Team World in the Ghana Diaspora All Star Game played recently.

Team Ghana beat Team World 92-90 to clinch the win at the Trust Sports Emporium popularly known as the Bukom Boxing Arena in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

The game’s most pivotal moment came in the closing moments of the contest and went viral on the internet with Clock at the heart of it.

The former Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) Shooting Guard uncorked a deep three point shot to beat the buzzer and secure the two point win for Team Ghana. (Click highlighted text to watch viral moment)

Team World led 90-89 with three seconds remaining before the heart stopping moment sent fans inside the Emporium into ecstasy.

The program was organized by Pro Ballers Academy and the 2021 edition was the second of its kind to be held in Ghana. The maiden edition was held in 2019 prior to the emergence of the COVID 19 pandemic.
