Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Center Amida Brimah was in action for Belgian side Filou Oostende in the final round of Group Games in the 2021-2022 FIBA Basketball Champions League.
After a jerky performance on his debut in the Champions League, Brimah played way better to aid his team beat French side Strasbourg 92-91.
Brimah registered 17 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in 21:36 minutes as a starter but his performance was far from perfect as he turned the ball over four times in the game. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
He scored seven of eight two point shot attempts and converted three of four free throws in the contest that had teammate Phil Booth lead all players with 30 points.
The win means Oostende ends its run in the group stages with three wins in six games same as Strasbourg but the French team ranks ahead of Filou since Oostende failed to win the game by at least six points.
Both teams have qualified to the Play In Series with Turkish side Tofas progressing automatically to the next round.
