Basketballghana.com can confirm the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) is scheduled to complete rebranding works in January next year.
Specific date for the announcement of completion of rebranding works to the Association’s image is yet to be determined but per the official statement from the GBBA released earlier today, it should be completed in the first month of 2022.
Rebranding works Basketballghana.com gathers includes upgrading or changing the Association’s official logo, the acronym, website and social media presence.
This development comes on the back of the Association signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Basketball powerhouse Lithuania recently to aid Ghana’s development of coaches and players. (Click highlighted text to watch video)
Recently, the Association’s long used logo was at the heart of controversy on social media drawing the ire of many who mistook the logo as one designed recently and launched on the day of the MoU signing.
In response, a handful of individuals suggested designs as possible logos to replace the existing one. (Click highlighted text to watch design samples)
