Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was one of only three players to score in double figures in the lowest point of Olimpia Milano’s run in the 2022-2023 Regular Season in the Italian Serie A.

The team suffered its first loss of the season after falling 68-71 to Trieste in Round 12 games played this past weekend in the European nation.

Bentil registered 12 points, six rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes off the bench in the loss; Troy Daniels and Davide Alviti were the only other Milano players to score in double figures in the game. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)

After two grueling games in the Euroleague against Real Madrid and one of Bentil’s former teams Panathinaikos in the lead up to the league game, Milano missed out on the needed energy to see off a tough Trieste side.

Bentil scored three of four three point shot attempts and scored one of two free throw attempts; he scored one of a pair of two point shot attempts.

Milano’s record now stands at 11 wins in 12 games but continues to lead the league standings with Virtus Bologna in second place with 10 wins and two losses.
