On the back of massive backlash from several quarters and individuals on social media especially Twitter following the Ghana Basketball Association’s launch of its official page on the aforementioned social media platform, a handful of alternative designs have been suggested to the Association for consideration in connection to an upgrade on the existing logo.
Prior to the commencement of the GBBA Dinner Gala with stakeholders on Friday, December 17 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Ghana’s capital, Accra, the GBBA launched its official page on Twitter. (Click highlighted text to read story)
The official logo of the Association was posted on the page and drew the ire of many observers who complained about the technical flaws in the logo design and the logo’s over simplicity.
However, it must be noted the logo was originally designed years ago and many mistook the upload as the official launch of the logo judging by the tone of comments in reaction to the upload.
Ghana’s biggest basketball portal has sampled a handful of alternative designs suggested on Twitter. Below is the list of potentially the GBBA’s next official logo:
