Basketballghana.com can report a strong collection of key sports personalities were present at the Ghana Basketball Association (GBBA) Dinner Gala.

GBBA President Ato Van-Ess, Vice President (Administration and Finance) Alex Kukula, Vice President (Technical and Development Programs) Idrissu Ayambire, Treasurer Aurora Commodore-Toppar and Secretary General Rafiq Arthur at the ceremony.

The well attended event had personalities across multiple fields present to take in the vision of the new GBBA and lend support to the Association’s course.

Kwame Amponfi Jr.

Eric Mensah-Bonsu stood in for Ghana’s Minister for Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif, Deputy Director-General of Ghana’s National Sports Authority, Kwame Amponfi Jr. and Ghana Education Service Physical Education Department Head Michael Ayeh represented Government agencies at the event.

Yaw Sakyi Afari

Coaches of Icons Basketball Academy, Braves of Customs and Galaxy Basketball Academy were present just as Basketball Event Promoters Yaw Sakyi Afari and Isaac Kwapong. Members from the Ghana Basketball Referees Association were in attendance.

Immediate Past Ghana Basketball Association President David Addo-Ashong graced the occasion and honoured for his service to the sport.
