Basketballghana.com can report Ghanaian Forward Reggie Agbeko is intent on playing a role to develop basketball in Ghana after retiring from his playing career.
He made this revelation in an interview with ArchySport recently where he talked extensively about life playing for Spanish lower tier side Zornotza.
Agbeko graduated from St. Louis University after moving from Ghana as a teenager and has professional basketball since 2017 in Denmark and Spain.
In his first season with Zornotza, the 6 foot 7 inch player has been solid for the West Division Standings and aided his team’s eighth win in nine games with 16 points and 11 rebounds this past weekend.
“After basketball, I have always had a dream of going back to Ghana to help out in the sport with whatever possibility I have. Any impact I may have on children who have the same dreams as me would be amazing” he said.
Agbeko is averaging 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds this season.
