Ghana Combo Forward Ben Bentil has delivered another impressive performance in an Olimpia Milano shirt since joining the team earlier this month.
Bentil starred in Milano’s 76-62 win over Germani Brescia in Round 11 of the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A Regular Season game. The win is Milano’s 11th in 11 games.
The 6 foot 8 inch player who can play both Power Forward and Small Forward positions started off the bench and played 17 minutes in the win.
Bentil registered 14 points and three rebounds to emerge as joint top scorer for Milano; Giampaolo Ricci also scored 14 points for Milano in a game Brescia Amedeo Della Valle scored 17 points. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
In two league games, Bentil is averaging 12 points and five rebounds and is in good tead to win a third league title in his professional basketball career.
He won two league titles in Greece during his time at Panathinaikos before moving to Turkish side Bahcesehir Istanbul Koleji in the immediate past offseason. He is the first Ghana born player to get drafted into the NBA and play in the NBA.
