Basketballghana.com can report young Ghanaian Center Ebenezer Dowuona has registered an efficient and productive performance for North Carolina State University.
Dowuona played 31 minutes as a starter in North Carolina’s 65-48 win over Bethune-Cookman University; the win is North Carolina’s seventh in nine games in the 2021-2022 Season.
The 6 foot 10 inch defender neared a double-double as he registered eight points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots. He turned ball over once in the contest. (Click highlighted text to watch highlights)
Dowuona was efficient scoring the basket as he converted three of four two point shot attempts and scored two of three free throw attempts.
The second year player led the game in blocked shots and his rebound tally was only bettered by teammate Dereon Seabron who had 13.
In nine games, Dowuona is averaging 4.6 points, five rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 27.3 minutes; North Carolina plays invitational games against Purdue University and University of Richmond before taking on Wright State University on December 21.
