Ghana Center Amida Brimah has expressed his readiness for tonight’s FIBA Basketball Champions League game between Filou Oostende and Tofas Bursa.
The game is schedule to tip off at 19:00 GMT with Brimah’s Oostende playing for the chance to get a winning record this season with the team recording two wins in four outings already.
“I certainly didn’t come for the weather…I’m ready to play my part in my first official game against Bursa on Wednesday. It’s all about winning matches. I want to get better here every day and win prizes with the team” he said in an interview with Belgian media outlet KLN.
The former Indiana Pacers man signed to the Belgian side after starring in the BSN League in Puerto Rico for Mets de Guaynabo; Brimah’s tenacious defence led Guaynabo to its first Finals appearance in 28 years but came up short in the best of seven game series.
Brimah won the National title during his time at University of Connecticut and won the 2018 NBA Gatorade League title with Austin Spurs in his first year as a pro.
