Basketballghana.com Ghana Forward Ben Bentil has led all players in the rebounds category in his first outing for Olimpia Milano after signing for the Italian Serie A team a week ago.
Milano beat Brindisi 79-53 over the weekend with Bentil making his debut in the win after coming off the bench and playing 16 minutes. (Click highlighted text to watch game highlights)
The 6 foot 8 inch player registered 10 points, seven rebounds and a steal with his rebound efforts leading the entire games with five rebounds coming on the defensive side.
Minus missing both three point shot attempts, Bentil had a fairly solid outing as he scored three of five two point shot attempts and scored four of six free throws.
The win keeps Milano in first place with 10 wins in as many games and plays Brescia on Sunday, December 12 in the league. Milano plays Monaco on Friday, December 10 in the Euroleague; Bentil played in the Euroleague for two seasons during his time at Panathinaikos.
